Senior Developer - Web Crawler

Job Description
- Develop, maintain and enhance the company’s web crawler and parser
- Prototype, design, implement, test and deploy
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Document and teach our training team how to use the web-crawler.
- Solicit and analyze feedback from business executives and trainers to prioritize development
- Interact with Senior Professionals including PhD Scientists and business executives located in the USA
Requirements
- (Python or Java), preferably Python
- 3+ years experience implementing crawlers, scrapers, parsers, transformers
- 5+ years experience working in professionally managed software development companies
- 3+ years DHTML, Javascript, XPath, XSLT, WWW::Mechanize
- Text parsing scripting languages
- Linux Operating systems (Redhat experience a plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (strong English language skills)
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Physics
PREFERRED Experience with
- Distributed system development
- Oracle, Posgres
- Lead role or management experience is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills is a plus
